Intestinal flora disturbances:
- In damaged to intestinal flora (e.g. following long-term antibiotic treatment)
- Gall bladder diseases
- Intestinal diseases (Colitis, Diverticulosis, Megacolon)
Increased blood ammonia levels (hyper ammoniemia in hepatopathy, portal-systemic encephalopathy)
কোষ্ঠকাঠিণ্য (পুরাতন কোষ্ঠকাঠিণ্য): যে কোন পুরাতন কোষ্ঠকাঠিণ্যের ক্ষেত্রে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা হচ্ছে তন্তুযুক্ত খাবার (শাক-সবজি, সালাদ, ফলমূল ইত্যাদি) পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণ তরল খাবার ও ব্যায়াম। এগুলো অপর্যাপ্ত হলে টুলোজ সেবন করা যেতে পারে।
আন্ত্রিক ফ্লোরার গোলযোগ:
- উচ্চ ক্ষমতার এন্টিবায়োটিক ব্যবহারে আন্ত্রিক ফ্লোরার ক্ষতি হলে,
- পিত্ত থলিতে রোগ হলে,
- আন্ত্রিক রোগসমূহ (কোলাইটিস, ডাইভারটিকুলোসিস, মেগাকোলন)।
রক্তে অ্যামোনিয়া স্তর বেড়ে গেলে যে সব রোগ হয় (হাইপার-অ্যামোনেমিয়া, পোর্টাল-সিস্টেমিক এনসেফালোপ্যাথী)।
